FINANCIAL DONATIONS

A steady and predictable stream of donations is important to our ability to better serve the poor and needy. A regular contribution, on a monthly basis, can allow us to plan our programs and commitments on a scheduled, long term basis. Contributions made at specific times or for specific reasons are also important to our efforts to care for the needs of the people we serve. All contributions are tax deductible.

Make an Offering: Please give generously when St. Vincent de Paul collects at your church. Many parishes have monthly envelopes or collections dedicated to feeding the poor. Your offering goes directly to help people in your own neighborhood or surrounding communities where volunteers work with those who are less fortunate.

Become a Supporter: Give regularly to the St. Vincent de Paul Society to ensure that those in need can be served. (Online Credit Card Donation) Your gift can get a child decent clothing for school, help a family to regain dignity in their own home, or help feed those who can not afford enough food for their family.

Make a Bequest: Leaving a bequest to St. Vincent de Paul Society creates a life-changing legacy for the future. Making your wishes known through a will assures that your intentions are fulfilled and allows you to plan your gift for greatest legal and tax advantage to your heirs. Plan a Gift: Careful planning can ensure that you realize maximum benefit from your donation. For instance, equity donations – stocks, bonds, mutual funds and other properties – can provide support for the Society while accruing multiple tax advantages for the donor. Contact your financial advisor or call the Society at (216) 741-7837, ext. 104 for a referral.

Will your employer match your gift?

Many companies have a Matching Gift program that will double your donation to qualifying charities. Check with you Human Resources Department to see if your company has one.

St. Vincent de Paul Society is a 501 (c) (3) Catholic lay charity.  We are not a United Way organization.  We do receive on-going support from Catholic Charities.  Most important to our mission, we invite private individuals, businesses and other organizations to share in our efforts through gifts of time and treasure.
