BLANKET SUNDAY
In the fall of each year, the parish Conferences devote one weekend to the
collection of blankets, towels, bedding and other winter wear. They also accept
cash donations that are used
to purchase additional items, like those collected.
Over the last 17 years, more than 300,000 blankets and hundreds of thousands of other items have been distributed to the needy. Collected goods are distributed through a network of more than 80 hunger centers and shelters in Northeast Ohio.
Blanket Sunday is the largest single donation of blankets and other items that takes place throughout the year.
