Greater Cleveland SVDP Judge Sam Calandra of St. Rocco was the temporary President of the Greater Cleveland SVDP having been selected by Conference presidents. Gatherings of the various SVDP regions (Lake/Geauga; West, South, and East) were held during the summer of 2009 to begin the reorganization of the SVDP Councils in Greater Cleveland. Meetings in April 2010 began the process of organizing new District Councils in the greater Cleveland Area(Lake/Geauga; West Cuyahoga(including Lorain) and East Cuyahoga). These will involve only SVDP parish groups who wish to remain connected with the SVDP National and International Councils. Bylaws have been adopted by each and new presidents have been elected and installed. Ozanam Centers The greater Cleveland SVDP sponsors 3 Ozanam Centers: St. Philomena, East Cleveland Please note: the Ozanam Center at Christ the King moved to St. Philomena in June 2009. Holy Name, Cleveland Biddulph Ozanam Center The Ozanam Food Center formerly located at Biddulph Road was reopened in August 2009 on Ridge Road. ----------- |
