SVDP Training-Quick Review of the Basics Below, in WORD, are a review of the basics in the SVDP. These were originally written by Larry Lauter in 2001-2002 and are still a good review of the SVDP basics for each member.
The National SVDP has many new training modules that will be made available to Vincentians in the Diocese of Cleveland. The SVDP Rule is something that every Vincentian should re-read each year. The International SVDP Rule was revised in 1973 and again in 2003 to bring it up to date with today's world; the basic requirements remained the same. Part I talks about the basic values of the SVDP; Part II, the statutes of the International Confederation of the SVDP; Part III, the statutes of the National Council of the United States. |
